I. Religious NGOs
1. Food for the hungry (Protestantism NGO)
Food for the Hungry is a Christian Non-Government Organization serving the poor globally since 1971. They reflect the love of Christ in short-term Emergency relief and long-term work to end world hunger. They walk with churches, leaders and families in overcoming all forms of human poverty by living in healthy relationship with God and His creation
1) Vision/mission
The vision of Food for the Hungry is "God called and we responded until physical and spiritual hungers ended worldwide", and the mission is "to walk with churches, leaders and families in overcoming all forms of human poverty by living in healthy relationship with God and His creation. The truth of Christ's love serves as the inspiration for our work. The financial support, prayers and partnership of people like you allow FH to address broken relationships — with God, each other, self and creation.
FH focuses on helping children and suffering communities. We support churches, leaders and families in caring for children. As communities grow spiritually, economically, and in healthy practices, children grow up with hope for their future. Programs are designed with input from the poor. Experts respectfully bring new practices in agriculture, health, child development and more to impoverished communities. The result is innovation and long-lasting relationships.
