EXT. CHURCH - DAY
The Hooded Man walks out. The TWO HORSEMEN ride up. The
Hooded Man climbs on his horse. He takes a DEEP BREATH as he
looks at a RANGE OF MOUNTAINS in the distance.
CUT TO:

EXT. VALLEY
a wooded path, munching a tidbit of toast, looking
for all the world like Red Riding Hood in his plastic poncho.

Its silent here, like a church. The only sounds we hear are
the twittering of the birds and the hammering of the
woodpecker.
??
A RUSTLING SOUND makes Paul freeze. He turns, becomes
transfixed. Softly:

PAUL
Oh, my...

Reverse angle

reveals a magnificent BUCK, not
ranged in schools on ice, stare up blankly. Crabs scratch
at their crates. Lobsters climb over one another in tanks.
One of the black SWAT vans turns down a side street. The
other takes an alley. The Marcells Crab House van continues
straight along Parcell Street.
INT. PANEL VAN - DAY
A 150-pound block of dry ice tries to cool down the heat
from all the bodies in the van - Starling and Brigham, t
range. Before the other Guards can even
react, Billy comes out with his own pistol, caps the Second
Guard.
THIRD GUARD
Still forty yards away... In mid-draw, be howls as a bullet
from Ganz breaks the nearby ground. He fires, then turns and
runs for the prison bus.
GANZ
Smiling, fires twice. but the range is too great for pistol
work...
THE OTHER PRISONERS
Watching....Then they all scatter in diff
Silent and endless. The stars shine like the love of God... cold and remote. Against them drifts a tiny chip of technology.
CLOSER SHOT
It is the NARCISSUS, lifeboat of the ill-fated star-freighter Nostromo. Without interior or running lights it seems devoid of life. The PING of a RANGING RADAR grows louder, closer. A shadow engulfs the Narcissus. Searchlights flash on, playing over the tiny ship
