- Students will be able to understand specific cultural information.
- Students will be able to read and grasp the misunderstanding situations.
- Students will be able to give right answers after listening or reading short dialogs.
- Students will be able to communicate with each
students - Especially, freshmen & discharged soldiers are interested in their appearance
- Most of them are tech-savvy, using the Internet and other technological devices on regular bases.
- Because of their lack of social confidence, they have high interests in their appearance and are sensitive about other people’s estimation.
- They could take self-confidence by managing their looks act
(1) Dominance: Americans see themselves dominant to Koreans, and Koreans see themselves subordinate to them.
(2) Integration: The integration pattern of Korean students can vary among assimilation, acculturation, and preservation. All three patterns are mixed in the Korean students’ behavior. However, the integration pattern that makes it difficult for the Korean students to overcome cultur
①The textbook deals all language skills introducing various texts including cultural information.
In Chapter 4, the main topic is Dol party, the first birthday celebrated in Korea. It covers Korean culture, so it is suitable for the course goals as well as the communication skills.
② Since the students needs and interests are different, the textbook can’t cover all although it has lots of
culture. It is often called as ‘Google of Korea’ thanks to its own advanced culture. NHN has creative and innovative items. And our members think these creative and innovative item come from NHN's unique organizational culture. So our team selected NHN's organizational culture.
