Were almost ON TOP OF the phone booth, the phone is still
ringing as a HAND reaches INTO FRAME and snatches the phone
from its cradle.
A WOMANS VOICE (V.O.)
(a touch Irish accent)
Yes?
ANOTHER ANGLE - And we see a woman named DEIRDRE on the
phone: striking, dark-haired, Irish. She carries herself
with the same professional edge as the men inside th
trigger.
But instead of a loud retort, there is only the dull POP of
a CO2-powered dart gun.

The tranquilizer dart finds its mark in the wolfs fleshy
shoulder. The wolf takes off running, but almost
immediately slows, sits, then lies down.

Eric and Anne Marie hurry over to the wolf, who is breathing
deeply. Eric kneels next to him and strokes his thick fur.

Its magnified and deeply revealed. Flecks of green and yellow in a field of milky blue. Icy filaments surround the undulating center.
The eye is brown in a tiny screen. On the metallic surface below, the words VOIGHT-KAMPFF are finely etched. Theres a touch-light panel across the top and on the side of the screen, a dial that registers fluctuations of the iris.

SEES the first of the MEN, dressed in CIVILIAN CLOTHES
but carrying full COMBAT GEAR, alight gracefully from
the chopper, double-timing in close order to one side,
the orders SHOUTED by one man lost in the ROAR of the
chopper.
The man turns away from the window, to a FIGURE, hidden *
in the shadows.

He turns back, lowering a BAMBOO SHADE, obscuring the *
window.
