Most of pyrolysis studies have been performed on heating-rate conditions for a very small amount of single component, with limited application of pyrolysis system like pilot plant. The major purpose of this study is to understand the charactristics of pyrolysis products through pyrolysis characteristic tests of MSWs. A target sample was recomposed of each component based on dry
tests were performed at different temperature conditions and 2kg MSW samples were utilized. Moisture content selected was 15% and 30%. The bottom temperature varied from 600℃ to 1000℃.
Gasification products such as ash, liquid, gas prepared for each gasification temperature were analyzed in terms of composition and heat value.
The yield of gas products(CO, H2, CH4) were higher at eleva
