1. 비만증의 정의
인류의 역사를 돌아보면 오늘날처럼 건강과 비만이 문제가 된 적이 없으며, 설령 문제가 되더라도 대부분의 사람에게 이렇게 심각한 위험이 되지는 않았다. 현대사회에서는 비만이 각종성인병의 주요 원인이 되고 있는 실정이다.
