The man is ERIC DESMOND, twenty-four, clean-shaven,
determined. Hes clearly out of place here, dressed in a
business suit and a light, camel-hair topcoat.

Eric is trying to follow some footprints in the snow -- a
predators tracks, those of a wolf or coyote. But the
footprints ahead have faded, covered by the sno
rough the cabin.
The boys eyes snap open.
Jacob glances around nervously. He looks like an escaped
convict who just accidentally walked into the Policemens
Ball. A GREYHAIRED MAN two seats away from him gives the
teenager a cursory glance, then goes back to his book. Jacob
lays his head back and tries to relax. The engines continue
to drone.
Until a new noise starts. A WHOOSHING NOISE.

1 THE ELECTRONIC WORLD 1
On one side of the screen, computer programming language is being
printed, and we HEAR the sound of an electronic keyboard. In the
center of the screen, glowing lines inscribe a rough computer
simulation of a figure, in response to the
rough the hull.
CLOSE ON THE AIRLOCK DOOR
Light glares as a cutting torch bursts through the metal. Sparks shower into the room.
A second torch cuts through. They move with machine precision, cutting a rectangular path, converging. The torches meet. Cut off. The door falls inward REVEALING a bizarre multi-armed figure. A ROBOT WELDER.
FIGURES ENTER, backlit and ominous. THREE MEN in bio-isolation
rough the garage. Behind him, a woman screams.
Desperate, he hides his weapon in a roof duct hidden by
tiles, driving it out of sight.
In the arena above, New York scores. The CROWD CHEERS.
