- Causes
Commonly, plague affects many species of wild rodents, and it usually is delivered by the bite of infected rat fleas (Xenopsylla species). That's why people who are most likely to be infected include hunters, veterinarians and those who live or travel in areas where animals are infected with
churches, leaders and families in caring for children. As communities grow spiritually, economically, and in healthy practices, children grow up with hope for their future. Programs are designed with input from the poor. Experts respectfully bring new practices in agriculture, health, child development and more to impoverished communities. The result is innovation and long-lasting relationships.
General Education
There are a number of primary and high schools in the local area, many of which are educating the children of our staff. These schools are inadequately funded and require ongoing support.
