1. 고정환율제도(fixed exchange rate system)
1) 고정환율제도의 정의
단수의 통화 또는 복수통화바스켓에 일정한 평가를 설정하고 이를 실제의 환율로 고정하거나 이 평가의 상하의 일정 폭 내에서 환율을 변동시키도록 하는 환율제도를 말한다. 따라서
Exchange Fund paper등을 결제할 수 있을 만큼의 충분한 외화보유고를 요구한다. 이때 결제하는 환율이 연계환율로 현재 홍콩달러의 대 미국달러 환율은 7.8HK$=1US$ 로 책정되어 있다.
