1 THE ELECTRONIC WORLD 1
On one side of the screen, computer programming language is being
printed, and we HEAR the sound of an electronic keyboard. In the
center of the screen, glowing lines inscribe a rough computer
simulation of a figure, in response to the
Riders on horseback cross the desert. From this distance they appear to be a company of Army Cavalry Soldiers.
CLOSER ANGLES ON THE RIDERS
Reveal only details of saddles, hooves and uniforms. The riders are silhouetted against the rising sun as they ride into an ancient CLIFF PUEBLO.
The OFFICER IN COMMAND raises his hand halting his troops.
OFFICER
Dis-mount!
RIDERS climb down from their mounts.

TRACKING DOWN the line of empty, open capsules. Frozen twilight. The final four capsules are sealed, lids in place.
ANGLE - INSIDE CAPSULE
NEWT, then RIPLEY. HICKS next, his head and chest bandaged. Then BISHOP in his caul of plastic. But the lid of Bishops capsule is misted with hothouse condensation.
