NEWT, then RIPLEY. HICKS next, his head and chest bandaged. Then BISHOP in his caul of plastic. But the lid of Bishops capsule is misted with hothouse condensation.

A tear of fluid streaks the condensation.
An alarm SOUNDS.
A monitor begins to scroll da
Its magnified and deeply revealed. Flecks of green and yellow in a field of milky blue. Icy filaments surround the undulating center.
The eye is brown in a tiny screen. On the metallic surface below, the words VOIGHT-KAMPFF are finely etched. Theres a touch-light panel across the top and on the side of the screen, a dial that registers fluctuations of the iris.
The instrument is no bigger than a
traumatic stress and survivor guilt --
maybe I should talk to someone who knows
whats going on.
SEAMAN
You can talk to the ships psychiatrist.
NORMAN
Im a psychologist, thats why I was sent
down here.
Norman follows the Seaman through a hydraulic door...They
