FESTIVAL is held every year from March, 1994. "Hakata Toumyou Lantern Arts" is a festival of lights in Hakata.
Activity
On the festival night, you can enjoy the paper lanterns lighting up the various areas of Hakata. More than 100,000 paper lanterns will light up streets, parks and buildings in Hakata.
Toumyou is used to light up Hakata for this festival. It is a traditional light in Japan.
