Company : Korean Air
1) Summary of Korean Air
Korean Air was established in 1962 and have been represented leading airline company in Korea. This company's parent company is 'GROUP HANJIN' and has a subsidiary company 'Jin Air'. Company's vision is 'To be a Respected Leader in the World Airline Community' and company's mission is 'Excellence in Flight'.
Korean Air's business field consist of flight, passenger traffic, freight, hotel, and limousine. Also this corporation is the member of SKYTEAM which is the group of world airline companies.
The company has 20,857 workers and a figure at right side shows how workers are arranged. What the company wants employee to be is an enterprising spirit, good-service and manners, international sense and faithfulness member.

2) Why we choose Korean Air
After 2008 subprime mortgage crisis, many people have thought that economy is on recession. But the year of 2011 world tourist industry was 7% higher than previous year. Especially, in case of korea, korea is expected that they record the biggest number of foreigner tourist in 2012. That is good chance to air line business. However, there are many threaten too. Especially low cost air lines and foreign capital air lines come into market, so there are many of competitor. Therefore, we want to choose airline industry which, when it comes to tourist industry, is the thing to be in. Among many airline industry companies, we choose 'Korean Air' that is on first place in Korea airline industry.
