    정산표란 결산시에 작성해야 할 시산표, 결산정리기입, 손익계산서 및 대차대조표를 한곳에 모은 것이다. 이것은 영구적인 회계기록이 아니다. 또한 분개장이나 일반적 거래내역도 아니다. 정산표는 수정분개나 재무제표를 위한 장치일 뿐이다. 정산표는 6위식, 8위식,10위식의 형식이 있다. 정산표를 작성함으로서 대차대조표, 손익계산서를 쉽게 작성할 수 있고, 신속하고 간편하게 재무상태와 영업성적을 파악할 수 있으며 결산에 관한 제반 사항들도 잘 이해할 수 있게 된다.
