영문 이력서를 미국에서는 Resume라고 하고, 영국에서는 curriculum vitae, 줄여서 C. V.라고 한다 그밖에 personal history라고 하기도 한다. 제목을 붙일 때 희망하는 회사가 미국계인가 영국계인가에 따라 구별하여 사용하면 된다.
1. Personal Identification
Personal History(Resume) of Kil Dong Hong』식으로 누구의 이력서임을 첫줄상단에 표시하는 것이 흔히 통용되는 서식이다. 그 밑에 현주소나 연락처, 전화번호, 기타 인적사항을 적는다. 나이(Date of Birth)는 월, 일, 년도 순으로 기재한다. 본적과 현주소를 기재할 때는 『번지, 통/반, 구(면), 시(도)』순으로 쓰고 마지막에 우편번호를 적는다. 가족관계는 『The second son of Dong-Suk Hong』식으로 게재한다. 본인의 이름과 생일, 성별, 나이, 본적, 현주소 및 연락처, 전화번호 등 기타 인적사항을 적는 부분이다. 본적과 현주소를 기재할 때는 '번 지, 통, 반, 구(면), 시(도)'순으로 쓰고, 맨 뒤에 우편번호를 적는다. 가족관계를 명시하고자 할 때는 'The Second son of Chong-hwa Hong'등 의 형태로 적으면 된다. 결혼관계는 기혼이면 'Married', 미혼이면 'Single'이라 기재한다.
LETTER OF SELF INTRODUCTION
Thank you giving me a chance to introduce myself. I am a creative mind and named kwang-mun Kim. I was born in Naju on January 31, 1981. I am the graduating class from Sekang Junior college majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication Study. I was brought up with utmost card and affection by my family that father who is diligent, my mother who is always kind and my young brother who has a strong sense of responsibility. It helped me to gain confidence and independence in my life.
The reason for majoring in journalism and Mass Communication Study are that first of all. I wanted to study some special major that other people never took. I love to meet people through Internet and desire to know that they think(desire, demand), induce me choice for the major. Finally, I was quite interested in Marketing subject.
When I took the major, I studied many subjects about new media-related such as New Media Policy, International Promotion, Image Communication, Organization Communication and Telecommunication and so on. The most interesting subject to me was New Media subject, which induce me to take some more subject about it. Further, I studied English and Chinese because I thought that to know many languages is power nowadays.
