Most of Korean people may think that Lock & Lock is the brand of foreign corporation. Lock & Lock is the popular brand. And it is brand of small Korean corporations. In normal, small corporations don’t have power that gaining huge circulation channel and advertise. But Lock & Lock succeed a deal with QVC. QVC is the biggest home-shopping company in the world. After Lock & Lock advertised by QVC TV channel, Lock & Lock had the great earning in U.S. market. The background of this deal is important to Lock & Lock. And finally we had some questions about the reason of success.

QVC is a multinational corporation which televised home shopping. It founded in 1986 by Joseph Segel, QVC broadcasts in four countries (US, UK, Germany and Japan) to 141 million consumers. The name is ‘an initialism’—standing for Quality, Value, Convenience, the three pillars of Segel's vision for the company.

QVC (its name stands for "quality, value, and convenience") offers about 1,600 items each week to TV-tied shopping addicts. Merchandise includes apparel, cosmetics, electronics, housewares, jewelry, and toys. It broadcasts 24 hours a day; viewers call in their orders to one of its six call centers. If you can't find what you're shopping for on the tube, it also sells online and through five outlet stores plus a full-line store at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. The company also has shopping channels in Germany, Japan, and the UK. QVC is a subsidiary of Liberty Interactive Group, which is owned by Liberty Media.
