A billowy white screen. An alarm clock BLARES. As MAIN TITLES
BEGIN, the lovely sleeping face of RACHEL KELLY rolls into frame.
Then out of it. Alarm keeps BLASTING. Back she comes, pulling the
sheets OVER her head. Motionless now, as we

FADE IN:
INT. RESTAURANT - MORNING (PRESENT DAY)
LOUISE is a waitress in a coffee shop. She is in her
early-thirties, but too old to be doing this. She is very
pretty and meticulously groomed, even at the end of her
shift. She is slamming dirty coffee cups from the counter
into a bus tray underneath the counter. It is making a
lot of RACKET, which she is oblivi
roomed gentleman. Behind him,
three floor-to-ceiling windows lead out to a rooftop garden.
LACHAISE
Not the usual Swiss procedure, Mr. Bond,
but you understand, a man in my
position..
BOND
Which is neutral, no doubt.
Lachaise takes the joke a little tight-lipped. Gestures for
Bond to sit.
A GIRL ENTERS, a gorgeous Swiss bombshell in a pin-striped
suit. She pushes a cart. On it are a BRIEFCASE and
gray. Detached and efficient, he looks like a cop or an accountant. His name is HOLDEN and hes all business, except for the sweat on his face.
The room is large and humid. Rows of salvaged junk are stacked neatly against the walls. Two large fans whir above their heads.
LEON
Okay if I talk?
Holden doesnt answer. Hes centering Leons eye on the machine.
LEON
I kinda get nervous when I take tests.

FADE IN:
INT. SOCIAL ROOM - TOP FLOOR OF HIGH RISE -- NIGHT
TYLER has one arm around Jacks shoulder; the other hand
holds a HANDGUN with the barrel lodged in JACKS MOUTH.
Tyler is sitting in Jacks lap.
They are both sweating and disheveled, both around
rooms,
and Isadora Duncan...
PAN AWAY FROM THE SHRINE across the room. Late afternoon
light spills into the room, across fine old furniture, to a
small dressing table. A WOMAN applies make up.
ANNIE SAVOY, mid 30s, touches up her face. Very pretty,
knowing, outwardly confident. Words flow from her Southern
lips with ease, but her view of the world crosses Southern,
National and International bord
