Silence. Gradually the sound of distant traffic becomes audible. A LOW ANGLE bounded on one side by a chain-link fence and on the other by the one-story public school buildings. Spray-can hieroglyphics and distant streetlight shadows. This is a Los Angeles public school in a blue collar neighborhood.

The movie begins with scenes of people screaming in horror and running down the streets of a big city. The ground shakes from what seems like giant footsteps. There are pieces of building debris falling everywhere, people getting crushed, power lines coming down, etc. - complete pandemonium. It all looks very much like a Japanese animated King-Kong or Godzilla movie. We hear the footsteps getting

Fade up on Ripley, as in the final scene of the film,
sitting, desolate in a ships cabin. The camera rotates
around his face, which begins in light and ends in darkness.

The King Of Kong Script
Therell always be
the argument
that video games
are meant to be played for fun.
Believe me,
some of its a lot of fun.
Video games are meant
to be played at home,
relaxing on a couch
amongst friends.
And they are, and thats fun.
But competitive gaming,
when you wanna attach
your name to a world record,
when you want your name
written into history,
you have to pay the price.
