Amy takes Welles hand, smiling at him.
INT. WELLES HOUSE, BEDROOM -- NIGHT
Welles and Amy make love in the darkness. Standard,
missionary position sex, little passion. They slow to a
finish, uneventfully, holding each other. Their breathing
quiets. Their daughter CINDY can be HEARD CRYING elsewhere.
Welles kisses his wife a
breath of fresh air and view the setting sun. The promenade is lined with palm trees. At the northern end of Marine Drive is Chowpatty Beach. This is a popular beach famed for its Bhel puri (local fast food). Many restaurants also line this stretch of the road. One of the latter is REGINA LAMPERT, a lovely young girl.
She is, besides taking in the sun, involved in her favorite
activity -- eating.
Then -- a dark, ominous shape intrudes in the f.g. FOCUS
CHANGES to bring into sharp relief a revolver -- shining,
black and ugly in the sunlight.
