본문내용
organic light emitting diode(OLED)
LED's emissive electroluminescent layer is composed of a film of organic compounds.
This layer of organic semi-conductor material is formed between two electrodes, where at least one of the electrodes is transparent.
OLED can be used in many display devices.
Active matrix OLED has an integrated electronic backplane made from thin film transistors(TFTs)
Each pixel addressed independently
A defective pixel produces only a dark defect, which is considered to be much less objectionable than a bright point defect(such as in LCD panels), or a line defect
Easy and cheap to build
Limited to small sizes
Power consump-tion is not good as AMOLED
More expensive, more difficult to create
Can be used for larger displays
Power efficiency is good
ITO
IZO
Others on developing
-CNT film
-ZnO:Al
Why ITO? What another materials can be used?
How about flexible transparent plastic?
Yes, it’s flexible display!!
