For this project, after discussion our team has chosen two major airline companies in the United States which are Delta Airlines and Hawaiian Holdings.
Why we selected this industry because it is very interest part for hospitality industry and they are very famous companies in the United States. When we finished final project, our team will be able to understand about the airline industry generally.
According the CNN take about the safest airlines, we know that commercial aviation is one of the most heavily monitored industries in the world and statistically the much-cited comparison bears out: you are much less likely to die in an airplane crash than in a car accident. Moreover, in these days, for safety sensitive to the social atmosphere, the safety is the most important area in airline industry. Although the airline industry as the safest industry.
And the airline industry is a fast growing sector demonstrating a very strong growth rate. It is associated with a number of social and economic benefits and is a growing contributor to the global inventory (White egg, 2000). Airlines were global before much of the business world knew global existed. As early as 1919, Chalk’s Ocean Airways was carrying passengers between Florida and the Bahamas in pontoon-bottomed seaplanes. That same year, regular flights between London and Paris began. By the mid-1930s, Pan Am was routinely flying to China, the Philippines, and Japan. International travel quickly became the most romantic, highest-margin segment of the airline industry, and it remains so today. And the tourist industry, business trade, globalization has quickly development that make the influence in airline development.
