Day 3: SoHo and Rooftop Views
We switched accommodations to Pod 39, located near Times Square, on the third day. After breakfast in the vicinity, we explored the trendy neighborhood of SoHo and stopped by La Colombe café, famous for its coffee and cookies. For dinner, we indulged in Shake Shack burgers, a New York classic.
The highlight of the day was the 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar, offering a breathtaking view of the city and the iconic Empire State Building.
Day 4: Chelsea Market and Lady Liberty
On the fourth day, we headed to Chelsea Market for a culinary adventure, trying lobster rolls and double crunch rolls for lunch. We then took a free ferry ride to catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty from a distance, which was an awe-inspiring experience.
We also visited the famous Dumbo area, where we took photos near the location seen on the popular South Korean show "Infinite Challenge." A walk across the Brooklyn Bridge offered us a picturesque night view of the city. Dinner near the Charging Bull sculpture concluded our day.
Day 5: A Day in Chicago
In the morning, we secured rush tickets for the Chicago musical, a must-see Broadway production. Afterward, we explored the Metropolitan Museum of Art and had a delicious meal in Koreatown. The day ended with a visit to a karaoke bar in Koreatown before we enjoyed the Chicago musical.
Day 6: Brunch, Times Square, and Koreatown
Our sixth day started with brunch at Chalait, known for its matcha lattes and various toasts. We continued to explore Times Square and ended the day with Korean cuisine in Koreatown, accompanied by kimchi stew and appetizers.
Day 7: Museums and Rooftop Bars
On our last day in the city, we visited the American Museum of Natural History and took in the stunning views from the Top of the Rock at the Rockefeller Center. We also explored Madison Avenue's luxury stores and enjoyed the evening at Le Bain Rooftop Bar and Gansvoort Hotel's rooftop lounge.
