The giant statue titled “Liberty Enlightening the world” is a majestic cooper Sculpture that stands on Liberty Island in Northern New York Harbor. The beautiful sculpture is more familiar with the name as “The Statue of Liberty” for us instead of its given name. This famous figure of a robed woman holding a torch is one of the largest statues ever built. It was given to America by France in 1886 to celebrate America’s 100th independent anniversary and express their friendship. Lady statue greeted millions of immigrants as they arrived in the New World and continues to greet millions of tourist from the around the world. Now, this statue is not only the most famous landscape in the United States, but it also representative emblem that implies freedom and quality.

미국 칼리지에서 ESL 수업때 제출하였던 자료입니다.
주제는 세계의 유명한 건축물이나 자연경관이였고 저는 자유의 여신상에서 썼습니다.
