본문내용
Measurement of Density
The mass is normally measured with an appropriate scale or balance.
The volume may be measured directly (from the geometry of the object) or by the displacement of a fluid.
Hydrostatic weighing is a method that combines these two.

2. Specific Gravity
It is the ratio of the density (mass of a unit volume) of a substance to the density of a given reference material.

※Reference material
solid & liquid : water, 1atm, 4℃
gas : air at STP (STP : 1atm, 0℃)

Caution!
The bulb and stopper of the pycnometer are both engraved with the same number . Be sure that you do not inadvertently swich stopper with someone else ; check the numbers occasionally

C2H5OH
Drinking Alcohol. Volatile, flammable, colorless
Colorless liquid in room temperature.

Molar mass : 46.07 g/mol
General density : 0.78506 g/cm3 (25oC)
Boiling Point : 78oC
Meting Point ; - 114oC

Cautions
Ethanol is Flammable.
Ethanol is little Toxic. If you don’t want to be drunken, Don’t drink.
Methanol can be dissolved in water. Then, Density of Water and methanol will be
changed. It can be cause of error in experiment
