First of all, Mercosur was established in 1995 and the full members are only Bra-, Arg-, Par-, Uru-
And the purpose of this organization is for the customs union, and intra-trade liberalization.
Some existed regional groups in Latin America include powerful nations, like the USA , England, France, Germany etc.
Next Ancom organization is established in 1969 and the members are only countries near by the Andean.
And the purpose is for the free trade zone for Andean Community.
And these organizations are not even including every nations in South America.
Last but not least, Caricom is established in 1937 and the members are countries near by Caribbean
And the purpose if for the intra-country’s Economy Development and Common Benefits.
However, UNASUR include all of the South American nations.
It’s a pure South America’s regional group.
For their own benefits and goods they decide to establish this organization among the powerful countries to increase their economy.
