The person I admire most is Helen Keller, who is a famous American writer. She is an ordinary, but great woman. She got a severe disease which made her blind and deaf when she was 19 months old. She lived in a world of silence and darkness. However, she had a strong will. She never gave up and tried her best to lead an active life. She was also eager to learn. She devoted herself to education. She wrote a book to remind the disabled that life is colorful and full of happiness. For a disabled person like her, this was really a wonder! I admire Helen very much because her tremendous determination encourages me when I meet some difficulties and want to give up. I have become much stronger psychologically and more independent. I also admire her optimistic about life. There is no perfect man in the world, and everyone has his defect. What we can do is to confront our defect with optimism and remedy it in other ways. Helen plays an important role in my life. She made me believe that once there is a dream, and there must be a way to make it come true. She is a heroine who I admire most and she will set a good example for me forever.
