이주노동자, 국제결혼여성들을 어떠한 모습으로 보여주어 여론을 형성할 것인가에 대한 일종의 frame을 가지고 다문화주의에 접근한다. 따라서 미디어로 사회를 접하는 많은 시청자들은 다문화와 관련한 실제와 가깝고 다양한 모습을 보기 어렵고 미디어가 형성하는 frame으로 다문화를 접하게 된다.
