1. Understanding changes in the world and proper reaction.
Facebook recognizes change of consumer’s needs and reflects various needs immediately. Facebook has concentrated on providing credible information as well as a large number of information. Users prefer credible information source when the quantity of information increases.
Furthermore, Facebook provides easy and comfortable service that expands age range of users. Its service is based on dialogical communication. On the other hand, existing SNS have some problems which cannot easily acceptable for elder people because of inappropriate sources like site decoration items. About 42% of Facebook users are 20~30s, and many of users who are 30~40s are actively participating to boom of Facebook.

Facebook also recognizes changing of technology related to SNS services and provides proper services. Facebook is appropriate to mobile environment while other competitors, such as Myspace and Youtube, have strength in sending photos and videos.
