◎ He received an MSLIS(Master of Library and Information Science)
degree 10 years ago.
◎ He has worked in several academic libraries.
◎ He recently has worked as head of reference.
◎ He is eager to move into a leadership position at PSU.
: We understand that he wants to share focused authority.
◎ He would like to implement a number of innovations.
: We understand that he knows a number of innovations
and has much enthusiasm about innovating at PSU.
2) about PSU
◎ PSU is a medium size state institution.
◎ PSU has about 14,000 students.
◎ PSU offers master's degree in education and business.
Through these, we understand that user are both PSU members and Plainville state residents. But it is hard to consider residents as well as the members needs at beginning. So we suppose that residents enough satisfy by public libraries. And we focus on the members of needs who frequently use the library.
Second, we understand that the library especially is concerned about field of education and business. But, there is no doubt that the library should deals with all fields.

① There is an early-generation online catalog and access to a few databases but little else in terms of information technology.
