Q1. iPod silhouette ad shows Apple’s typical color, white, and white earphones and it becomes symbol of iPod. This ad associates color with brand awareness.
Do you think that it improve brand equity? If so, could you give us another idea?
Q2. iPod all generation have similar design. Does similar design satisfy their customer consistently? May some customers want Innovative design of iPod. But changing standard design may weaken the brand recognition. Which one is better, maintain or Change?
Q3. Apple has its own software which is not interchangeable with other brand’s products. It set the barrier to prevent customers move to other competitors and make originality. But some customer feel inconvenience because of Closed system. Which strategy better in long term view of brand equity ?
Q4. Korean consumer are familiar with A/S system. However, Apple provides Refurbish system to their customers, instead of A/S. Refurbish System is higher price and is not oriented Korean A/S system.
Does the Refurbish System affect brand equity negatively for Korean consumer? Do you think Apple change their Refurbish system in Korea, or not?
