The mockingbirds are Boo Radley and Tom Robinson.
Boo Radley is a neglected class of people. He is disconnected from the world around him by his father. The children are scared to approach him, but he never hurt anybody. In the times, structural prejudice makes people scared to Boo.
Tom Robinson is a black man. He is brought to trial because he is found guilty of raping white woman, Mayella Violet Ewell.
Mayella : She is a daughter of Bob Ewell.
glancing at her father she lies in court. in fact, she tempted Tom first. we can see that she is also like a mockingbird.
Why do we compare them to mockingbird?
Because of the reason that they don't similar to us, we should not threat their peaces.
"It is a sin to kill a mockingbird - a songbird that harmlessly exists only to give pleasure. They don't do one thing but just sing their hearts out for us."
