Romans other activity(로마인의 다른 활동): Wealthy in the country also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Rome, there was a handball, and a similar ball games. Backgammon, board games, gambling was a very popular pastime. Women did not participate in these activities. In the evening banquet rich music, dance, poetry and enjoyed the entertainment. Ordinary people in the club or meeting, hold a similar celebration, but usually enjoy the evening entertainment sponsored meeting meant to open a tavern. With toys or children themselves, and played the horses pass. They enjoyed boating―a common recreation for the rich―and hoop bowling that involved rolling a hoop, or wheel, along the street, sometimes propelling it with a stick. Several Roman writers frequently refer to ball games for both participants and spectators. The young especially practiced this game, which is similar to the one that children still play in parts of North Africa and elsewhere.(시골에서 부유층은 낚시와 사냥도 즐겼다. 로마에는 핸드볼과 비슷한 구기 종목도 있었다. 주사위 놀이, 보드 게임, 도박도 매우 인기 있는 오락거리였다. 여성들은 이런 활동에 참가하지 않았다. 부자들은 저녁 잔치에서 음악, 춤, 시 낭송과 같은 오락을 즐겼다. 평민들은 클럽이나 모임에서 비슷한 잔치를 열기도 했는데, 보통 오락을 즐기는 저녁 식사란 후원을 받아 선술집에서 여는 모임을 뜻했다. 아이들은 자기들끼리 장난감을 가지고 혹은 목마 넘기를 하며 놀았다. 그들은 뱃놀이(부유층이 흔히 즐겼던 레크리에이션)와 후프 볼링을 즐겼는데, 후자는 길을 따라 후프(=굴렁쇠)나 바퀴를 굴리는 놀이이었으며 때로는 막대를 사용하여 굴리기도 했다. 특히 청소년들이 이 게임을 즐겼는데, 오늘날 북아프리카 등지에서 아동들이 하는 놀이와 다르지 않았을 것이다. 몇몇 로마 시대 작가들은 경기 참가자들과 관중들이 함께 참여하는 볼 게임(구기 스포츠)에 대해서도 자주 언급하고 있다.)
