2-1. Original IOR Experiment
This experiment was an imitation of Posner's original experiment. We used E-Prime to design this experiment. There were 10 participants who were university students and selected regardless of their sex.
Method

The display shown was similar to the one shown above and the size of each square is 56x56 pixels and the distance between the squares is 120 pixels. The first display showed three empty squares, the cue was presented either on the left or right squares with the same ratio and the yellow square as a target appeared on one of the three squares. (Figure 1.1) The interval between the cue and target (SOA) was manipulated starting from 80ms, 150ms, 250ms, 350ms, 450ms as well as the ratio of target appearance (center square 0.6, left and right 0.1 each, no target 0.2 as catch trial).
