Present authors have proposed a unique type of promoter : "V-shaped" is the best.
And they experiment to find adequate "height and angle"

2-2. Experimental Apparatus and Measurements
*Apparatus
- heat transfer plate and side plate
- V-shaped promoter(1mm thick vinylchloride resin plate)
- fluid : water
The whole apparatus was submerged in a large water tank of 800*800mm2 in cross-sectional area and 1800mm in depth.
V-shaped promoter were located on the test surface 1200mm downstream from the plate edge.
*Measurements
Promoter : the length of the side B, the height H, the attack angle α
B=20mm(fixed) / H=2.5,5,10,20 and 30 mm / α=180,150,120,90,60 and 30 degrees)

2-3. Results & Discussion
When α=90° and H=10 mm is the optimal condition.
