본문내용
It is helpful to first review what TMB PROCESS is, and how it works.
In TMB process, Solvent and adsorbents flow in opposite direction.
it makes a contact of countercurrent, then more efficient separation can be obtained.
if A has strong selectivity than B, adsorbent carries around A. and then eluent carries around B.
But TMB process is hard to perform in real world.
Because it can cause to back mixing and get low separation efficiency and productivity.
So, we should make adsorbed phase move to desorption and purification.
But it can also cause to abrasion and crumbling.
