The book that I want to introduce is 'River Boy.' 'River Boy' has already been recommended to teenagers and designated as the winner of the 1998 Carnegie Medal. I think teenagers can learn many lessons and solve their psychological problems in their minds. The setting of the story starts as the grandpa and his granddaughter, Jess, embark on the grandfather's farewell journey to his hometown. The fifteen year old swimmer, Jess, is dedicated to her grandpa, who is very bad-tempered and a fierce artist. When he falls ill, he decides to go to his hometown to finish his last painting, 'River Boy.'
