Ototake had no arms and legs since he was born. Hospital officials said that they determined that if they showed her baby to the mother, she would be knocked down by a shock, and therefore they did not show the baby for a month. The hospital even prepared a hospital room for his mother to pass out. Contrary to what we had expected, however, his mother said that he looked cute like Winnie the Pooh, not surprised to see him. And his mother also did not hide that he was her son, but took him out on purpose and showed him off to the people around her. His mother has sublimated what she met with him to 'joy' rather than 'pain'.

'오체 불만족'은 팔다리가 없이 태어나 전동 휠체어를 타고 다니지만 의지와 용기로 장애를 극복하고 누구보다 밝고 건강하게 사는 오토다케 히로타다의 이야기를 담은 책입니다. 줄거리와 함께 본인의 소감을 영어로 작성하였습니다.
