The purpose of this study is to obtain optimum operation conditions for desirable products of MSWs gasification through experiments for different operating temperatures, moisture contents.
In this experiment, an updraft-stream gasifier was selected among several reactor types.
A target sample was recomposed of each component based on dry composition of MSWs that are dir
condition were analyzed in terms of yields, composition and heat values.
The results of this study indicate that decomposition reaction at 430℃ is faster than at other temperatures. Gas products(CO, H2, CH4) were obtained more effectively at higher temperature conditions but the amount of gas product was not so substantial.
