Textbooks have been changed according to the revised curriculums. Once they were applied to schools, however, there have always been some dissatisfactory opinions. We investigated what overall attitudes of students and teachers toward the textbookrevised by the seventh curriculum are, in four aspects.

①The textbook deals all language skills introducing various texts including cultural information.
In Chapter 4, the main topic is Dol party, the first birthday celebrated in Korea. It covers Korean culture, so it is suitable for the course goals as well as the communication skills.

1) Location
Russia is located in the north Eurasia continent (Far East Asia ~ Europe). Russia is the largest country in the world which is about 1/8 of the world’s land area. Because of this huge territory, there is an 11-hour time difference between East and West.
2) Climate
The huge territory of Russia also makes a various climate zone. Basically, Russia has continental
