층1 : “narrow abilities(일차적이며 개별적인 능력)”
층2 : “broad abilities(범주적 능력)”

피검자에게 검사에 대해 설명하기
Throughout this task, I will be asking you to answer a number of questions, some of which include math, spelling, reading, and writing. You will find some of these questions easy, whereas others may be more difficult. Also, most people don't answer every question correctly, but please give your best effort on all of the items. Do you have any questions?

제시된 시작점(Starting point)부터 검사시행
적절한 기저선(Basal)을 확립하기 : 6 Lowest correct
만약, 시작점이 11번이라면 문항 11-16번 까지 모두 맞춰야만 검사 진행.
11-16번 사이에 틀린 문제가 있을 경우, 11번부터 6개 문제가 연속해서
맞을 때까지 거꾸로 시행.
적절한 상한선(Ceiling)을 확립하기 : 6 Highest incorrect
수검자가 6개 문항을 연속해서 틀릴 때까지 계속해서 실시.
★ 기저선/상한선 법칙에 예외인 소검사
Test 2 Reading Fluency (start at number 1)

Test 8 Writing Fluency (start at number 1)

실시(Administration)
원점수 채점
수검자의 원점수는 모든 맞은 문항의 점수를 더하고,
기저선 아래에 응답되지 않은 문항들도 맞은 걸로 간주.
Reading, Math, Writing Fluency는 모두 맞은 반응의 합계를 제시함.
Writing Sample section은 16-30번 문제에서 얻어진 점수만을 더해서 제시함.
