Coniferyl alcohol is more hydrophilic than ferulic acid and coniferaldehyde.
Coniferyl alcohol has unsaturated α-β side-chains and δ+ charge in α-carbon.
So, lignin made of coniferyl acohol form LCC easier than ferulic acid and coniferaldehyde.
