: Free Trade withdraws restrictions about various imports and non-tariff barriers and makes international trade balanced and equalized.
Therefore, free trade in the 19th century and the modern age are different because the former unilaterally protected class profits of one country in the 19th century.
FTA would facilitate inefficient domestic production to be replaced with efficient foreign production, allowing consumers to purchase less expensive imported goods
Therefore, this situation enhances the economic welfare of the member countries.
Workers who are fired by the less competitive company will get subsidies.
Some of these workers abuse the law in order to get more subsidies.
Besides, these subsidies will be supplied by people’s tax.
So, the more people prefer free trade, the more tax they will pay.
