1. Introduction
"Europe's crisis is all about the north-south split."
Alan Greenspan, who was the former U.S. federal Reserve Board (FRB) Chairman, said the situation of Eurozone Crisis as follows. Due to high savings rate and low inflation, northern european countries have been known for frugal countries before the Euro appeared. On the other hand, southern European countries had low saving rate and excessive consumption. They had different consumption behaviors and this made economic imbalances. However they only focused on building one economical community under a single currency with no consideration of that problem. At that point, Eurozone crisis already have been started. Furthermore, southern European countries could raised funds at a low interest rate than in previous years after joined the Eurozone. This situations promoted unhealthy consumerism and gave the reason As a result, economical integration with little thought of political and cultural aspects led to collapse of whole europe.
In this paper, we look at the case of Greek financial crisis which is known for/as the starting point of Eurozone crisis, the process of Eurozone crisis, the prospects of europe and the effects of Eurozone crisis on Korea and effective counterplans.
