여성이 운영하는 기업들이 입주하는 춘천 여성기업전용단지가 첫 삽을 떴다. 도와 춘천시, 한국여성경제인협회 강원지회는 25일 거두농공단지(G-Tech 빌리지) 여성기업전용단지 부지에서 입주기업 건축 기공식을 가졌다. 이날 행사에는 최흥집 정무부지사, 이광준 춘천시장, 이건실 춘천시의회의장, 이인영 강원일보 전무이사, 이금선 여성경제인협회 강원지회장을 비롯한 회원 등 200여명이 참석했다. 여성기업전용단지는 거두농공단지 내 2만8,000여㎡ 부지에 여성 경영인이 운영하는 9개 기업이 연내 공사를 마치고 입주할 예정이다. 이들 기업 중 예스안전, (주)흥창, 유온LED, 파이프퀸 등 4개 업체는 건축 허가가 끝나 곧바로 착공에 들어갔으며, 나머지 5개 업체는 9~10월께 공사에 들어갈 예정이다. 춘천 여성기업전용단지에는 신재생에너지 시설을 설치해 국내 최초로 이산화탄소(CO) 발생이 없는 단지로 조성될 예정이다. 이들 기업은 한 곳에 모여있는 장점을 최대한 발휘해 기술개발과 원부자재 공동 이용 등 협력시스템 구축에 적극 나설 방침이다.
이금선 여성경제인협회 강원지회장은 “도내 여성 기업인들의 숙원사업인 여성기업전용단지가 우여곡절 끝에 첫 삽을 뜨게 됐다”며 “이번 사업을 계기로 도내 여성들의 창업활동과 경제활동 참여 활성화는 물론, 지역경제에 이바지하도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 강조했다. 최흥집 정무부지사는 “여성기업전용단지가 우리 도의 새로운 성장모델로 제시될 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않을 방침”이라며 “이날 기공식은 제2, 3의 여성기업전용단지가 조성되는 기폭제가 될 것”이라고 말했다.
