Multiple Intelligences (MI) theory was developed by Howard Gardner in 1983. He observed that all human beings have various types of intelligences as well as logic and language intelligences. Also, he argues that people differ in the strengths and combination of intelligences. For instance, the Musical type of learners can learn better than Visual type of leaners when learning something with music or singing. And the Visual type of learners might learn better than Bodily type learners with some pictures or paintings. So, MI focuses on the learner differences and provides different mode of lessons to the learners. These days, there are many schools as well as language programs using MI perspective.
