1. The motive we chose Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme.
With the advent of modernization and westernization, the new culture, Brunch which is a compound from breakfast and lunch, had come in Korea. So, many people have been having meals with donuts, muffin and coffee.
Also, our society is getting busier and busier, so the trend that having meals quickly and simply becomes more popular.
As a result, people have their quick breakfast or lunch with donuts and muffin. That's why we decided to compare and analysis the two companies, Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme.
We find that People not only buy the company's original main item, but also start to buy other optional products like Bruch menu. So, we regarded the two companies as food service industries, not just snacks
2. Dunkin donuts' introduction
Dunkin donuts has 52 kind of donuts' and 12 different great-tasted coffee. And even they have delicious breads which are bagels, sandwiches for breakfast and etc. They have been the biggest chain in the world since 1950s. The average visitors in a day are about 200 millions people, besides they have 5,500 franchises in all around world.
Dunkin' Donuts is world's largest coffee and baked goods franchising that provides various donut, high quality coffee, bagel and breakfast sandwich since 1950. About 2 million people visit the store a day and they have more than 5,500 franchising in all over the world.
