hwp 영화는 미국에서 은둔 생활을 하며 전국을 떠도는 한 가족의 모습을 보여 주면서 시작된다. 가족의 부모는 1971년에 대학의 군사실험실을 폭팔시킨 혐의로 수배되어, 6개월 단위로 이사를 다니며 살아가는데, 뉴저지에 이사를 가서 가족의 큰 아들인 마이클은 음악 선생인의 딸인 로나와 사랑에 빠지게 된다.
This movie being premising hippies living. The meaning of the hippie is a word that symbolizes the claims and Islands, off-the-shelf social norms or negative values, and the restoration of humanity, such as those who are seeking free lifestyle, springing since the late 1960s among the young generation, in the United States. Hippies have characterized the reverse racism of material civilization or country to stifle the humanity and the freedom of the individual from the social system in order to liberate, Michaels parents can be an excellent example of hippies.
이 영화는 히피족 생활을 전제로 진행되고 있는데 히피족이란 기성의 사회 통념이나 제도, 가치관을 부정하고 인간성의 회복 등을 주장하며 자유로운 생활양식을 추구하는 사람들을 상징하는 단어로 1960년 후반부터 미국에서 청년층을 중심으로 하여 생겨나기 시작했다. 히피족은 인간성을 압살하는 물질문명이나 국가·사회제도로부터 개인의 자유를 해방시키기 위해서 징병기피·반전·인종주의에의 반항하는 특징을 가지고 있는데 마이클의 부모가 그의 대표적인 예라 할 수 있다.
While I watching the movie, I felt emotions like anxiety. Families live away from society, but Michael has a desire to belong to a social and the society which coveted his talents. This situation, and the contents was made me unstable how to this movie end up. Eventually Michael remain in the village, and the family left, because I wish the movie content do not break up the family, even if parents embroidery. Somehow, despite is not sad ending movie, I was felt bitter.
허공을 달리다를 보면서 느낀 감정은 불안함이었다. 가족은 사회에서 벗어나 살아가고 있지만 사회에 속하고 있는 욕구를 가지고 있는 마이클과 그의 재능을 탐내고 있는 사회는 이 가정이 어떤 결과에 도달할지 나의 가슴을 졸이게 했다. 결국 마이클은 마을에 남고 가족은 떠났지만, 나는 부모가 자수를 하더라도 가족이 찢어지지 않고 함께 남아있으면 좋겠다는 생각을 하고 있었기 때문에 샌드 엔딩이 아님에도 불구하고, 왠지 모르게 기분이 씁쓸했다.
Ive been empathy in the movie. I think If I was on Michaels position, what would I choice. In that sense, this film gives the information, people who trying to escape society and bondage society, both. In addition this movie gives time to think about it.
최근 영화에 이렇게 감정이입을 해서 본 것은 오랜만인데, 과연 내가 마이클의 입장에 있었다면 어떤 선택을 했을까 라는 생각을 하게 되었다. 그런 면에서 이 영화는 사회에 속박되는 사람들과 벗어나려는 사람들에 대한 정보를 제공해 주고 둘 중 어느 것을 선택할 건지 생각할 시간을 주는 영화였다고 생각한다.
Also I try to substituting this movie in modern society, It’s show about the aspects of modern society, have to choose which keep own’s family or left own’s family to live a Growth (success) life of movie.
또한 현대 사회에 이 영화를 대입해 본다면 가족을 지키거나 성장(성공)하기 위해 사회 속해 가족을 소홀히하며 살아야하는 생활 중 양자일택을 현대 사회의 양상에 대해 고찰할 수 있는 시간을 주는 영화 였다.
Watching this movie, I was reminded another movie, Billy Elliot, when I saw the high school. I was very impressed movie content, that talented ballet boy to be successful away from the mining country village and family. So I had thought in the past, If those chances give to me, I had the idea of choices such as Billy. Thus, I would remaining in the village, if I were Michael. Before the end of impression, I wanted to recommend this film to people who are interested in these issues, and it was a really good movie.
이 영화를 보면서 고등학교 때 본 영화중에 영국 북부의 탄광촌에서 탄생한 발레 천재소년이야기인 빌리 엘리어트라는 영화가 생각났는데, 탄광촌 시골마을과 가족을 떠나 도시로가 성장영화 내용을 보면서 굉장히 감명을 받았고, 만약 나에게 그런 기회가 주어진다면 나는 빌리와 같은 선택을 하겠다는 생각을 한 적이 있다. 따라서 내가 만약 마이클이었더라도 가족을 따라가지 않고, 마을에 남았을 것이다. 감상문을 끝내기 전에, 이 영화는 이러한 문제에 관심이 있는 사람들에게 추천해주고 싶으며, 정말 좋은 영화였다.
