hwpEdger Allan Poe was born on January 19th, 1809. He lost his parents before his three years old and became an orphan. Fortunately Jhone Allan couple adopted him and grew in rich. When he was 17 years old, he entered Virginia University but left the school for disagreement with his adoptive father. After his marriage, he always gambled, drank. Finally he lost his social position. To make matters worse, his wife passed away in short marriage. And then, to forget his pain, he drank and smoked opium all day long. In 1849, he fell down with drinking in front of Baltimore's office and at least died.
