There are always possibilities that text takers might misinterpret the items, so it is important for item writers to scrutinize the items from test takers' point of view. Also, items are required to be consistent with the specifications from start to end. After writing items, moderation will be followed to find weaknesses in the items and revise them. Each writer will get feedback from two colleagues after finishing the first draft of items. Considering those feedbacks, moderation will be processed and it will be presented as the form of checklist including feedback on items. After moderation, each revision card will be completed as a result of reflections on feedback.

M: Hello?
W: Jiwon? It's mom
M: What's the matter?
W: I'm in the bank and I've just realized I forgot to get a document. Can you come to the bank with it?
M: Sure.
W: OK. Take the bus number 21 and get off at Nari highschool. It's not far from there. Straight down until you see the grocery store at the corner. Turn left and just walk one block. Then you can see the Kookmin bank at your right. Go past it and down to the corner. If you turn right, you'll see a flower shop on your left. And the bank is north from it. Can you get it?
M: OK. Mom. It'll be there in a minute.

"the bank is north from it"이라는 표현에서 north는 뜻을 알더라도 방향감각이 없는 학생의 입장에서는 순간 당황해서 오답을 적을 가능성이 있다. 이는 순수한 리스닝 능력을 측정 한다고 볼 수 없어서 문제가 있다.

전체 길이는 적절하나 마지막 여자의 말이 너무 길다. 한사람이 말을 길게 할 경우 한번 대화를 놓치면 따라가기 힘들기 때문에 중간에 남자가 확인하는 말을 넣어주는 것이 좋겠다.

길 찾는 과정이 너무 복잡하다. Kookmin bank라는 distractor가 있기 때문에 길찾는 과정을 좀 더 단순하게 고쳐도 학생들의 난이도는 너무 낮지 않을 것이다.
