Business Model Introduction – Maison de beaute

‘Masion de beaute’ is the café that provides coffee, tea and makeup service. There are many women (especially aged 20-24) who are concerned about their appearance and makeup very much.
For freshman, it is not easy for them to do makeup well and easily because they do not have much makeup experience before entering the university. Therefore, we found the business opportunity based on this fact. There are huge makeup needs among the female university students, but usually makeup shop only provide the makeup service for weddings, graduations, and very special events. In addition, the price is very expensive. The cheapest price starts from 50,000 won-this price is not reasonable for female students at all.

We thought that if we can provide the makeup service for usual events such as night clubs, interviews, birthday parties, blind meetings and etc. at reasonable prices, it can become a very successful business model. Therefore, we conducted the industry analysis, research, focus group interview, two times (types) of survey. Finally, the business model named Maison de beaute ( the French word means beautiful house ) was established.
